Arjan Mossel studied Languages & Cultures of the Indigenous Americas at Leiden University. His main research interest is in place-name studies, and its possibilities for uncovering linguistic (pre)history. Further interests are the (extinct) Puquina language, Quechua oral traditions, and Amerindian languages in general.
